Air Tykes tickets are for 20 minutes which is long enough for most little ones! They will need to put a little harness on so they are safe and feel just like the big boys and girls! Air Tykes cannot be booked online, however, sessions on the day are every 20 minutes so there’s plenty of opportunity to try it out.

  • Where mini explorers have an adventure of their own

Hoisting the sails on the fastest pirate ship on the seven seas. Swinging across the widest canyon on a rickety rope bridge. This isn’t the movies... it’s another mini explorer having one ALMIGHTY ADVENTURE on Air Tykes. Let their imagination run wild and the fun commence! For children aged over two years and no taller than 1.22 metres, Air Tykes is a smaller scale adventure ropes course, buried within the heart of Air Trail where mini explorers can have their own adventure just like the rest of the family. They will tackle 9 challenges including rope crossings and zig-zag beams similar to Air Trail, except on a smaller scale. A responsible person can walk side by side to offer a helping hand. There’s an adventure for all the family at Air Trail Tees Barrage! Please note that you cannot book Air Tykes online, however, sessions on the day are every 20 minutes so there’s plenty of opportunity to try it out.
